Sometimes, as I’m trying to comprehend the evil people feel obligated to rain down upon one another ‘in the name of God’, I try to put myself in their shoes and visualize the conversations they must be imagining having with their god.*
I decided to share some of these visualizations in the form of a comic strip: “conversations with jesus“. Let me know if any of this helps you grasp what previously eluded you.
The first one deals with an infuriating display of intolerance from our Christian friends in Virginia.
* I use the term, “their god” because my God is one of love, kindness, acceptance, understanding, tolerance…and shares no discernible characteristics with the dispicable creature from whom they take their orders.
